Repair Café International has established partnerships with several companies and organisations. One of these is FixPart. This webshop specialises in selling parts and accessories for household appliances and has more than 15 million products available. FixPart is committed to reducing e-waste and prolonging the life of household appliances. Together with the Dutch environmental organisation Natuur & Milieu, FixPart has developed the repair check, a step-by-step plan to check whether your appliance is repairable.
The partnership consists of the following elements:
There are four distinct elements to our partnership with FixPart:
- FixPart makes an annual donation to Repair Café International. This enables the foundation to cover some of its expenses.
- FixPart offers Repair Cafés in all countries where the webshop operates a 15% discount on all purchases. Repair Cafés can set up a special discount account for this purpose. This is FixPart’s way of making repairs even more rewarding. Repair Café International regularly informs all Repair Café coordinators about this discount offer. Information is also always available through the account that all Repair Cafés have on repaircafe.org.

- FixPart will organise its Repair Café at its headquarters in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. This project is currently being prepared.
