Launched in September of 2025, Repair Cafe Walsall was set up by local CIC Urban Hax. The aim is to make this a self sustaining initiative which will be run by volunteers allowing Urban Hax to become the host organisation rather than the drivers behind the cafe. This not only ties into our long term sustainability agenda, but also our social impact aims, bringing together people, skills and opportunities for interaction, conversation, training and social inclusion.
We are always looking for volunteers to help run the Repair Cafe and also expand our pool of repair heroes!
Please get in touch if you feel you would like to be involved. Although we run sessions on a Saturday, there is always something that needs doing.
And there will be cake. There is always cake!
We are currently running on a monthly basis at our main base within the Saddlers Centre in Walsall with additional ad-hoc sessions at some of our partner organisations also within our plans.
